Axis is
company under the name of Axis Intermodal that provides
world-class intermodal containers to shipping lines mainly
international. It is considered to be the first container
terminal operator in the Southern Hemisphere. The company Axis
Intermodal was founded in 1998 as terminal operating company and
container handling. The company works with its customer needs.
The name axis was chosen by the company because it means
precision, focus and strength and also accuracy and movement.
And “intermodal” was chosen to give an idea of the different
modes of transport which can be used; it can from ship to road
or rail for example. Axis works in partnership with the clients.
Axis Intermodal has different locations in New Zealand; there is
axis fergusson, axis bledisloe, axis pack, axis rail, axis,
