bridge has

water. The
bridge was
opened in
May 1959 by
the Prime
Minister of
this period,
Sidney Holland.
The
construction of
the Harbour
Bridge took
four years.
In 1959 the
bridge road
was
officially open
with four
lanes with
two in
each
direction. During
the
construction of
the bridge
there have
been four
deaths.Those
men have
their names
on a memorial
plaque under
