Augusta which means “through rough ravines to hallowed heights”
is the motto of the Auckland Grammar School. It is a state
secondary school in Auckland in New Zealand. The school was
created for boys and receives students from Form three to Form
seven. The school was established in 1868 and is located 87
Mountain Road at Epsom. The main block of the school was
constructed in 1916 and was built in the Spanish mission style.
The Auckland Grammar School is considered as the oldest school
of Auckland. The current headmaster of the school is John
Morris. John Morris is the headmaster of the Auckland Grammar
School since July 1993. The school offers cultural and sport
activities. The VentureLodge is a facility offered to students
used for camps. |
