The Sky Tower
is located in Auckland on the corner of Victoria and Federal
Street. The tower has a height of three hundred and twenty eight
meters. The tower is the thirteenth tallest member of the World
Federation of great Towers. The tower was opened in March 1997;
the construction of the Sky Tower took two and a half years. For
the construction of the Sky Tower two thousand tones of
reinforcing steel, fifteen thousand cubic meters of concrete and
six hundred and sixty tones of structural steel has been used.
The Tower was constructed by Fletcher Construction. The Tower
has a also restaurants and bars where you can enjoy a nice drink
and meal. Auckland is a magnificent city which is worth a visit.
There is large number of attractions and accommodations in the
fabulous city of Auckland. When you are at the top of the tower
it is a great place to make beautiful pictures of the city. |
