The Slope Point is
located on the South Island of New Zealand at the southern
point. It lies around seventy kms east of Invercargill.
Invercargill is called in Maori Waihopai. The area is the
commercial centre of the Southland. Invercargill has a
population of over 48,000. There is primary and high schools in
the city. Invercargill has also a city council located at 101
Est St. The land area is around 491 km square. Invercargill has
a temperate oceanic climate. Slope Point can only be reached by
walk, there has been no road constructed. The land around Slope
Point is mostly used for sheep farming and there is no houses
found nearby. Slope Point is also located near Toetoes Bay.
