The Mount Ruapehu is located on the North Island in New Zealand. The mount is an active stratovolcano. It is one of the most active volcanoes in New Zealand and in the world; it makes part of the Taupo Volcanic Zone. The North and South Island have both a lot of activities, attraction and accommodations. The South Island is more mountainous than the North Island. The Mount Ruapehu is the highest mount on the North Island.
