Hanging their
old shoes along the road has become in New Zealand a tourist
attraction. The New Zealanders hang their old used shoes all
along the roads on the fences. In many parts of Canada and
United States it has also become now a tourist attraction, they
hang their olds shoes, sockets, bikes as decoration on fences
and trees. In America while travelling you will come along shoe
trees as they call it there. It seems that it first started with
pigs skins at Tahora. You can see it on the picture above the
olds shoes hanging along the fences. It is strange but why not,
everyone try to make their land look unique. Just hope that they
don’t smell too much. So while travelling in New Zealand along
these roads with the old hanging shoes, make a lot of pictures
to show your family and friends. |
