The Dawson Falls is
located in the region of Taranaki in the Egmont National Park.
In the surroundings of the Dawson Falls there are accommodations
available for tourists who would like to stay a few days and
visit Taranaki, New Plymouth, Opunake and Inglewood. The Konini
Lodge and the Dawson Falls Mountain Lodge are two well known
accommodations proposed to the visitors and situated close to
the falls. The Konini Lodge can receive up to thirty eight
people. The facilities that the lodge offer are four bunkrooms
that can receive up to eight people, 2 bunkrooms where up to
three person can sleep, drying room and heating, two separate
living place, communal kitchen and bathrooms with hot showers.
It is not a first class hotel but enough to spend a great
holiday the lodge has mainly been created for tourists who come
in groups. The Dawson Falls Mountain Lodge is a very comfortable
lodge with swiss style suites. It is a quite luxurious place;
the lodge has a bar, restaurant, sauna, and private conferences
rooms. The lodge is located in the Egmont National Park. |
