The New
Plymouth city is the main town of Taranaki and is also home of
the port of Taranaki. The port Taranaki is considered as the
Westgate. The port was constructed in 1875. New Plymouth is a
city with a population of 55,000, it is considered as a busy and
modern city. Taranaki is New Zealand’s energy centre and also
one the first world’s dairy region. Taranaki dominant landmark
is the Mount Taranaki. Taranaki has a population of 103,000. The
Mount Taraniki is surrounded of a temperate rain forest which is
a National Park .The port is modern and offers a lot of
facilities as cold and dry storage, blyde terminal, port area,
tanker terminal, and moturoa wharf. New Plymouth is a place
worth to visit with so much attractions as in the heart of the
city the Pukekura Park. |
