Kakanui is
town located in the region of Otago in New Zealand. The Kakanui
River is also located in the Kakanui, it flows in the sea. The
area of Kakanui is known for limestone formations. The soil
around Kakanui is very fertile and used especially for cricket
pitches and it is also a land very good for horticulture for its
good volcanic ground. As Kakanui is a coastal town it has
beautiful beaches. Campbell’s Bay is known for surfing, it is
considered as the first safe beach with Caroline Bay in Timaru.
There are also a lot of beaches where you are not able to swim.
Kakanui and Oamaru is also a town with a large number of
accommodations as Kakanui Cottage, it is located not very far
from Oamaru, and the cottage is near the river and the beach,
Empire Hotel Backpackers located on Thames Street in Oamaru, Pen
Y Bryn Lodge on 41 Towey Street Oamaru, Yha Oamaru Red Kettle

attractions proposed as surfing, fishing, swimming, walks,
