As the other
pictures here is another special and magnificent picture taken
in Oamaru. The picture was taken during a day where there were
the clouds which gave a spectacular scene. It was not so long
after sunset, you can see on the picture it is starting getting
dark. Oamaru is located in North Otago on the South Island of
New Zealand. Oamaru is also the largest city of North Otago.
Oamaru comes from maori which means the place of Maru. Oamaru is
also famous for its stone. The Oamaru stone is a type of local
limestone quarried near Weston. So while visiting Oamaru you
will come along a large number of buildings constructed with the
Oamaru stone. |
