You can observe on this picture the beautiful orange sky. This is a sky that you can observe when you are visiting New Zealand. New Zealand is called by the Maori as “the land of the long white cloud”, in maori Aotearoa. In the maori language Ao means cloud, tea means white and roa means long. Traditionally Aotearoa was given only to the North Island but with time it is used for whole New Zealand. Both islands of New Zealand forms part of some the largest islands in the world. The official languages of the country are English and Maori. New Zealand has a population of over four million. The total area of the land is 268,680 square kilometers. Abel Janszoon Tasman was the first European to have come along New Zealand during the year 1642.
